Verge is inspired by the Lake Michigan lakeshore. The spare composition of glass floating in cement board points to the close proximity of the natural and built environments. The lake itself is a blank yet dynamic palette, marking the space between sky and land. The lake reads as a liminal space: water at the verge of sky and land.
